BabbleBot is operated by Daemon Labs LLC. This policy describes what information we collect when you call or interact with a business that uses BabbleBot, how we use that information, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum we need to deliver the service.
Information we collect
- Phone number — captured from caller ID when you call a business that uses our service.
- Name and order details — captured during the call if you provide them (for example, the name you give for pickup, and the items you order).
- Email address — captured only if you voluntarily provide one during the call (e.g. when asked "would you like an email receipt?").
- Call recordings and transcripts — calls may be recorded and transcribed in order to operate the AI agent, fulfill your order, and improve service quality.
- Operator account information — for business owners and staff using our dashboard: name, email address, role, and login activity.
How we use information
- To take and fulfill your order or request during the phone call.
- To send transactional SMS and email notifications related to your specific order (confirmation, pickup-ready, modifications, cancellations) with your explicit verbal consent.
- To allow the business you called to access their dashboard (orders, customer history, settings).
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and improve service reliability.
SMS messages
We do not send marketing messages, do not sell or rent phone numbers, and do not share them with third parties for marketing. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; replying HELP returns a help message. We do not maintain marketing lists. We will only send customers and tenants messages they have requested in the process of placing orders or managing business operations.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- With the business you called, so they can fulfill your order and contact you if needed.
- With service providers we rely on to deliver the platform (for example, Amazon Web Services for hosting, SMS, and email delivery). These providers may process information on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of it.
- When required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We retain order-related information for as long as the business you called needs it to operate (typically the lifetime of their account). You may request deletion of your information by emailing the address below; we will honor requests within a reasonable period and consistent with our legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption, access controls, and per-tenant isolation.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
